Fortnite Season 7- Start Time And Date, Skins, Theme

Fortnite Season 7 is almost upon us. Sports betting site B Sports Season 7 officially starts on June 8, and we already have some ideas of what to expect–it’s clear that aliens and UFOs will be the big theme, although we don’t yet know exactly what that will entail. [Update: Fortnite Season 7 is live, adding Rick Sanchez of Rick & Morty fame, Superman, and more.]

The wait isn’t much longer now, as Epic will be revealing the Fortnite story and battle pass trailers for Season 7 today, June 7, at 11 PM PT (2 AM ET / 7 AM BST on June 8), according to listings on YouTube. That should fill in the gaps on what we know will happen in the new season; you can find out all the information we have about Season 7 below.

In the meantime, Fortnite players are now being abducted by UFOs. For current Fortnite challenges, make sure to learn how to place warning signs at Crop Circle and where to destroy spooky TV sets. Be sure to hurry–you have just hours left.

When Does Fortnite Season 7 Start?

Fortnite Season 7 goes live on Tuesday, June 8. That date is featured in the graphic above on the official Fortnite site, which eliminates any doubt about the update hitting on that date. This was already believed to be the case, as in Fortnite and on Epic’s site, the Season 6 Primal Battle Pass was listed as running through June 7, which implies the new season kicks off the following day. However, Fortnite seasons have been quite varied in length for the past year or so. Both the pandemic and Epic’s own internal plans have altered start and end dates before, so consider this subject to change for now. While the longest season of Fortnite ever, Chapter 2 Season 2, went on for 17 weeks, earlier seasons tended to go 10 weeks. Season 7 will end after Week 12.

What’s In The Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass?

The Fortnite Battle Pass tends to be one of the most secretive details of this otherwise leaky game. We didn’t learn of the Season 6 Primal theme until a few hours before it launched. However, some seasons, like the Marvel season last summer, have been leaked in advance. Thanks to a number of teasers, we know Season 7 will center around UFOs and aliens.

Beyond the aforementioned abductions, the evidence had already been stacking up. The Foreshadowing Quests all point to some sort of alien theme, with mentions of crop circles and visitors from the sky. Add to that an ongoing “They’re Coming” ARG seems increasingly tied to Fortnite and recent details about UFOs coming to the game at the end of this season, and it seems like extraterrestrials are all but a guarantee for Season 7, with players speculating the season will be called Invasion.

Along with the alien theme, there’s good reason to believe Marvel’s Loki is coming to Fortnite as part of the new season, who would suit the theme well as an otherworldly visitor himself. Teasers from Epic also suggest that Superman and Rick and Morty are among the properties that Fortnite will have a crossover with this season, presumably as unlockable skins in the Battle Pass.

How Much Is The Season 7 Battle Pass?

Whatever’s in it, you can rest assured the Fortnite Season 7 will cost 950 V-Bucks, which is about $8. Players can also unlock enough V-Bucks to buy the next season’s Battle Pass by climbing the tiers of any ongoing Battle Pass. If players reach level 100 and don’t spend their earnings along the way, they will have enough V-Bucks to unlock the next Battle Pass for no extra charge.

Players looking to get a boost can also purchase 25 tiers immediately for 2,800 V-Bucks ($20), but just once, at any point in the season. Those who like to unlock everything a season has to offer will still want to come back weekly to complete Epic Quests and unlock the additional Styles linked to doing so, but a jumpstart is maybe a good tool for those who want to receive more rewards in less time.

Those who subscribe to the Fortnite Crew will instantly unlock the Season 7 Battle Pass, and all future Battle Passes, while they are subscribed. Fortnite Crew costs $12 per month and gives subscribers exclusive skins and other cosmetics, a monthly deposit of 1,000 V-Bucks, and more in addition to guaranteed Battle Pass access. For players who join Fortnite Crew but have already purchased the most recent Battle Pass, their accounts will be returned a one-time allotment of an additional 950 V-Bucks.

Crow Country's Deliciously Haunted Nostalgia Is A Weapon

At first glance, Crow Country is a nostalgia piece. It pulls on the horrific sprawl of Resident Evil, populating its theme-park setting with brain twisters and monsters contorting into human shapes. It borrows from the toy aesthetic of Final Fantasy VII, its characters rendered in blocky, plastic proportions like Playmobil. Department Of Justice Opens Investigation Into Vince McMahon And WWE

Via Deadline, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District Of New York revealed to the federal court that McMahon, Laurinaitis, and WWE are the subjects of an official DOJ investigation. As a result, Grant’s lawsuit will now be on the backburner while the government pursues its own case.

Fallout’s Ella Purnell Doesn’t Want To Be Known As "The Cannibalism Chick"

Between Yellowjackets, Army of the Dead, Sports betting site B Sports and now Fallout, Ella Purnell has already built up a small list of projects involving either cannibalism or flesh-eating zombies. It’s something the actress can joke about, especially because Yellowjackets and Fallout have gone a long way towards establishing her as a star. Even so, Purnell doesn’t want to be known for only taking those kind of roles.

“What’s so funny is that I didn’t put two and two together with Yellowjackets and Fallout,” said Purnell during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “I never ever was like, ‘Oh God, what are people going to say about my cannibalism trend?’ It never occurred to me until I started doing press, and I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I guess…
